Why does nearly every Olympic Athlete have a coach? Because almost all of us perform better when we have someone to be accountable to. If you have a noble and godly goal that I agree is in conformity with the Bible and God’s will, I’d like to help. Here’s what I will do for you:

I will pray for you, cheer you on, and encourage you at each session.

Together we will look at scriptures containing important truths that will help you achieve your godly goal. These include bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit known as self-discipline, abiding in Christ, being led and empowered by the Holy Spirit, and permitting God’s mighty power to be at work through you.

I will help you to clarify your goal to be pure, sought out of the right motives, achieved in the right way, and in conformity to God’s will. Together we will break down the achievement of your goal into manageable action steps, set a timetable for achieving them, and set reasonable goalposts along the way. Then I will rejoice with you when you reach each one!

I will also encourage you to envision things that your future self will likely do that will sabotage those goals, and make plans to prevent your future self from doing that.

I will hold you accountable at each session, asking you to rate your progress towards your goal since the last session. If you have fallen short in your progress, I will help you to identify roadblocks, and together we will devise ways to circumvent them.

Financial aid from the PeaceBrooke Giving Fund may not be available for this particular service, depending on what the goal is. That evaluation will be made at the discretion of PeaceBrooke.
